Chechik was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. She grew up in foster care. She was told that she is of Russian, Serbian, and English descent, but states that she's not sure if that's true.
Chechik earned a GED and attended Drexel University. She was a biochemistry major.
Chechik worked at Scarlett's Cabaret in Hallandale Beach, Florida prior to working in adult film industry. She entered the adult film industry in 2013. The last name in her stage name was derived from the name of horror film director David Chechik.
